Job Overview

The Client:

CHR. KAPODISTRIAS & SONS LTD is the largest automotive parts company in the Republic of CYPRUS. The company is an importer and distributor of new spare parts, tyres, lubricants, tools and garage equipment, operating mainly as a retailer.

We are looking to recruit a Software Developer/Programmer for its offices in Nicosia.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be part of the team responsible for the reengineering of the existing processes and improving productivity of the company.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Upgrade and Maintenance of company’s ERP System
  • Implementation of other systems
  • Design and Implementation of interfaces between different systems within the company and across partners (either vendors providing systems or customers, or counterparties requesting exchange of information).


Skills / Qualifications / Experience:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Working experience 2 – 5 years as programmer analyst, preferably in retail sector.
  • Languages/Software knowledge: SQL (preferred), Visual Basic .NET, PHP, Java or C# or C.
  • Solid understanding of SQL/relational databases.
  • Knowledge of Visual Studio
  • Experience in ERP systems
  • Knowledge of BI systems will be considered an advantage.
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication & documentation skills in English.
  • Creative and analytical thinking.
  • Strong technical abilities combined with business acumen.
  • Ability to stay current with business and industry trends.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to diverse environments/challenges.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and prioritize and manage own work.
  • Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.



The position is for the Client’s offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.
