The Client: 

On behalf of our Client, a Banking Institution, we are looking to recruit a Programmer/Analyst for its offices in Nicosia.

The Position: 

The Programmer/Analyst should be able to function effectively under pressure maintaining high quality and standards in analyzing and programming in-house applications and procedures cooperating with other programmers as a part of a team. The ideal candidate will have to deal with the banking sector oriented systems development, maintenance and support in a fast moving financial environment meeting a numerous of business needs and compliance objectives

Duties and Responsibilities: 

The Programmer/Analyst in terms of the working environment and technologies will deal with the following:

• Relational database
  1. Microsoft SQL 2008 – 2019+
  2. Database Design
  3. Complex T-SQL coding including Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Indexes and Cursors
  4. SQL queries optimization SSIS packages ETL and scripting
• Visual Studio 2008, 2013, 2019+ vb .Net, ASP .Net
• MVC methodology (models-views-controllers)
• XML scripting and handling
• JASON
• Rest services and API development (services, calls and documentation)
• WCF development and maintenance
• Web designing using innovative methodologies, bootstraps etc.
• Microsoft Office components usage
• Microsoft Windows environment
• Java
• Angular JS or Angular 2+
• Azure DevOps
• VB 6.0
• Crystal Reports
• DTS / DTSX handling

Skills/ Qualifications/ Experience: 

• Bachelor or Master’s degree related to Computer Science from a reputable university.
• Minimum two-year experience with similar technologies should be considered as an advantage.
• Ability to work as part of a Team.
• Ability to work with tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Keen eye for details
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Punctual, responsible and target motivated.

Location: The position is for the Client’s offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.
