As our Lead SQA Manual Tester, you drive the creation and optimization of test plans to ensure increasingly thorough and efficient test, as well as ensuring the QA team executes on the plans. You will also work with the team to provide the test results of various features in development and collaborate closely with the development team to deliver world-class online features and services. Responsibilities:

  • Manage the local QA team & possibly testers in other locations
  • Act as the champion of quality promoting best practices in collaboration with Engineering & Product management
  • Ensure quality standards and processes are always followed
  • Define and refine the internal quality processes
  • Mentor and coach members of the team
  • Promote a culture of growth and continuous improvements within the team

 Must have:

  • 3-5 years of QA experience in the web development sector
  • 1-2 years of QA Lead  experience
  • Extensive experience with bug & test case management, tracking and reporting programs (i.e. TestRail, Jira).
  • Experience with functional and non-functional testing
  • Experience with black-box, white-box, and grey-box testing
  • Good knowledge of web tech stack (HTML, CSS, RESTful API … etc.)
  • Working experience with REST API testing and POSTMAN
  • Good knowledge and understanding of BDD (Behavior Driven Development) software development process
  • Proven ability to define test scope and create test cases
  • Proven ability for transferring knowledge into documentation
  • Demonstrated leadership and project planning skills
  • Demonstrated ability to plan based on available resources
  • Strong understanding of different levels of testing and test reporting
  • Attention to detail during the test and audit processes
  • Experience with managing a team of Quality Analysts
  • Clear and effective communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Shipped multiple features, games, web pages, web features, mobile apps, services
  • Self-Sufficient & able to drive organizational vision with minimal supervision

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience (preferably technical discipline) is a plus.
  • Experience with automation and automation tools (Selenium, Katalon, or similar)
  • ISTQB Certification (Foundation, Analyst, Test Manager)
