The Position: 

AML Compliance Officer

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be part of the AML function of the Compliance Department and will report to the AML Compliance Supervisor. Main responsibilities include:

• Review of AML files of the Borrowers/Buyers for the purposes of AML compliance in accordance with the Company’s and Clients Policies and Procedures.
• Daily support of staff in AML compliance related matters.
• Participate in the training provided to staff on compliance-related matters, promoting and enhancing a strong compliance culture within the company.
• Maintain a good understanding of the relevant regulatory requirements and provide advice and guidance to various departments.
• Performing reviews in accordance with the company’s compliance risk assessment and monitoring program to assess the company’s compliance with its legal and regulatory obligations.
• Providing support to members of the compliance team in order to fulfil the company’s reporting obligations.
• Participate in preparing compliance reports related to the Compliance Department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in business, economics, finance, law, or any other related field
• Experience 1-2 years in similar position
• Good knowledge of AML legislation
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Effective time management skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
• Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English language both verbal and written
