The Client: 

CNP Cyprus Insurance Holdings, a member of the French international insurance group CNP ASSURANCES which ranks amongst the top 10 largest insurance groups in Europe, is a leading group in the Cyprus insurance market.

The group is seeking to recruit an ambitious and self-driven professional for the position of Programmer/Analyst.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Develops new programs / systems to upgrade existing applications, helping the department and consequently the Group to achieve its goals.
• Maintains existing systems to ensure the smooth operation of the operating systems used by the company.
• Implements various purchased systems or developed by the company and creates the required communication bridges with the existing systems.
• Ensures the best and seamless service to Users and Insurance Agents in IT matters.
• Performs any other duties related to his position that may be assigned to him/her

Skills/Qualifications/ Experience: 

• Bachelor’s and / or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any other related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Fluency in the use of information Technology Applications.
• Experience in full stack development.
• Knowledge and experience in developing in the following fields:
  1. VB.net, C# and .NET Core
  2. REST APIs
  3. Relational Databases
  4. Ability to write clean and comprehensible code
  5. Basic CSS and HTML5 knowledge
  6. JavaScript basic knowledge
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language (both written and verbal)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• High emotional intelligence
• Structured and critical thinking
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Multitasking and ability to respond to tight schedules and deadlines
• Ability to co-operate well with other team members for the delivery of larger projects.
• Any experience on the area will be considered as advantage
• 1. Proven experience with enterprise application development
  2. Experience in UX and UI Design
  3. Proven exposure to MVC web applications.
  4. Familiarity with Entity Framework and database technologies (e.g., SQL, DB2, Oracle)
  5. Agile work environments experience

Location: 

The position is for the Client’s offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.
