CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a progressive, International Investment Firm offering brokerage services across various affiliates and subsidiaries, we are seeking to recruit a Trading Operations Analyst to join their expanding team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for analysing and monitoring trading-related data that will assist the Business to make key, business-critical decisions. You should have previous experience working within the Forex and/or FinTech sectors and have a background in the areas of either Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Business Analysis or a related field. You must be proficient with SQL, with the ability to work with and manipulate large data sets.

Role Overview:

This is an established position, and its primary objective is to audit and report the trading operations data and participate in supporting of different projects. You will contribute to the development of one of the company’s business functions using BI solutions such as Machine Learning Models, Dashboards and others. The ultimate target of Trading Operations analysts team is to become strategy advisors for the business.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Analyze data to identify patterns and inconsistencies.
• Develop end-user reports from scratch that support all the business unit needs.
• Conduct research and compile data about trends.
• Monitor each project’s progress and optimize processes.
• Enable data-driven decision making and tracking of business performance.
• Evaluate new system resources and processes.
• Create technical reports and manuals for end-users.
• Develop workflow charts for system changes.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Must have Experience in Forex, FinTech or similar field.
• Previous work experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, Business Analysis, FX Dealing or a related field.
• Basic knowledge in generating process documentation.
• Understanding of IT software development cycles.
• Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools.
• Organized, diligent and detail oriented.
• Extensive SQL experience working with large data sets.
• Experience in analyzing and transforming data into impactful visual insights (Power BI and Excel).
• Quick learner eager to grow professionally.
• Good business understanding of trading, liquidity, aggregation, execution etc.
• Excellent analytical skillsets and the ability to consolidate information efficiently.
• Great team player with ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to multitask.
• Comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment.
