Job Overview

The Client: 

CNP Cyprus Insurance Holdings, a member of the French multinational giant CNP ASSURANCES, which is included in the ten largest insurance groups in Europe, is a leading force and a leader in the Cypriot insurance market.

The Group wishes to hire an ambitious and dynamic professional for the position of Officer Risk in the Risk Function.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assists in the timely implementation and maturity of the Group’s Enterprise Risk Management framework, including policies, procedures, controls and reporting mechanisms.
  • Advises on how to design/adjust/scale and implement processes to maximize synergies across multiple regulations and reports.
  • Assists in the performance of risk and control assessments and reassessments, involving the identification and analysis of risks and controls estimating the effects on the business.
  • Participates in the Own Risk Solvency Assessment (ORSA) process.
  • Assists in the fulfilment of Regulatory, Board of Directors and Shareholders reporting.
  • Liase with the key functions (Actuarial, Compliance, Internal Audit) and business units.
  • Performs any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
  • May also be required to assist in similar manners on related disciplines such as ESG (Sustainability).

 

Skills/Qualifications/ Experience: 

  • Bachelor and /or master’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, Actuarial Science, Economics, Law or any other related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in risk management/ actuarial/ financial markets/ financial regulation will be considered as an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical skills.

Location: 

The position is for the Client’s offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.
