The Client: 

CNP Cyprus Insurance Holdings, a member of the French international insurance group CNP ASSURANCES, which ranks amongst the top 10 largest insurance groups in Europe, is a leading group in the Cyprus insurance market.

The group is seeking to recruit ambitious and self-driven professionals for the position of Non-Life Actuarial Officer.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Implementation of IFRS 17 framework
  • Solvency II calculations and reporting
  • ORSA calculations
  • Internal & other external Reporting
  • Participation in the effective implementation of the risk management system of the Group
  • Monitoring the performance of the Company’s products
  • Providing quantitative and qualitative support to other departments

 

Skills/ Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Higher Education Degree in Mathematics / Statistics / Actuarial Science or other related field
  • A Master’s degree in related fields or relevant actuarial experience in the insurance industry will be considered as an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Actuarial role, related to Non-Life Insurance
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel)
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language (both written and verbal communication)
  • Knowledge on Actuarial reserving software will be considered as an advantage
  • Knowledge on data science or analytic programming language (e.g., R) will be considered as an advantage
  • Progress of obtaining the professional qualification (Fellowship) will be considered as an advantage
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Structured and critical thinking
  • Very good organizational and communication skills
  • Very good time management and ability to act on tight schedules
  • Teamwork spirit

 

Location:

The position is for the Client’s offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.
