Job Overview

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International provider of IT & Marketing related services, primarily to the iGaming sector we are seeking to recruit an HR Officer to join their expanding team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will play a key role supporting the HR Function of the company here in Cyprus and should therefore hold a minimum of 2+ years within a similar, HR focused position in Cyprus. Experience with the recruitment and onboarding of Non-EU nationals in Cyprus is key to this position and fluency in Greek & English are essential. Knowledge of the Russian language will be considered an advantage.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage working visa and migration process for new and existing employees.
  • Support and manage different HR projects and tasks.
  • Keep updated and implement company procedures.
  • Research various information on request of the Head of HR.
  • Establish, maintain, and organize employee records, job descriptions, recruitment records, files and ensure that documentation is always accurate, relevant, and updated.
  • Keep up to date on current issues and brings them to manager attention.
  • Criminal record checks and other pre-employment screening.
  • Assist in the maintenance of employee directory and company organization structure.
  • Assist to processing internal arrangements such as team-building events, parties, celebrations and conferences in cooperation with HR and Event manager.
  • Update internal databases when needed (e.g. record sick or maternity leave).
  • Support of the recruitment processes.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Any relevant academic background relating to Human Resources and/or Business Administration will be considered an advantage, but not essential.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Human Resources as either an HR Administrator, HR Officer or HR Manager in Cyprus is a must.
  • Knowledge of the recruitment process is highly desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of Social Insurance and Tax requirements in Cyprus relating to Payroll is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of labour/immigration law relating to the recruitment and onboarding of Non-EU Nationals is a must.
  • Professional attitude and high sense of confidentiality.
  • Excellent demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Goal-oriented, team player.
  • Fluency in Greek & English is essential; knowledge of the Russian language will be considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of BambooHR software and management software like Trello will be considered as an advantage.
