The Position:
One-Event is looking for a dynamic and experienced Corporate Events/ Project Manager to join its team. The Corporate Events/ Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of destination services for the clients, including planning, organizing, and executing various events, activities, and logistics to ensure seamless and memorable experiences for the clients’ travelers. The Corporate Events/ Project Manager will work closely with clients, suppliers, and team members to deliver exceptional services that exceed client expectations and contribute to the success of the Company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and execute destination services, including transportation, accommodation, tours, activities, and other logistics, based on client requirements and preferences
- Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers, vendors, and partners to ensure high-quality services and competitive pricing
- Conduct destination research, stay up-to-date with local attractions, events, and trends, and make recommendations to clients based on their interests and preferences
- Create detailed itineraries, proposals, and budgets for client groups, and manage bookings and reservations for all services
- Provide on-site supervision and coordination during events, activities, and tours to ensure smooth operations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure client satisfaction
- Collaborate with clients, team members, and suppliers to handle changes, modifications, and last-minute requests while maintaining excellent customer service
- Conduct post-event evaluations and collect feedback from clients to continuously improve services and exceed client expectations
- Assist in sales and business development efforts, including participating in sales presentations, client meetings, and industry events, to promote our Company’s services and generate new business
Skills/ Qualifications/ Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event planning/project management, destination management, or related roles
- Strong knowledge of local destinations, attractions, hotels, and suppliers
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with clients, team members, and suppliers at all levels
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected situations with flexibility and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software and technology
- Ability to travel and work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed
Location: The position is for the offices of One-Event in Nicosia, Cyprus
