Business Process Officer

 We’re looking for a highly driven and motivated individual, with a strong personal presence, integrity, trust, and resilience to join our Audit, Risk & Compliance team in Nicosia.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the different business unit functions to document the Company’s processes while providing recommendations as to effectiveness, efficiency, economy and best practice within established systems and processes relating to information, controls and associated systems.
  • Provide training and workshops to different business unit functions to ensure awareness of the processes they are related to.
  • Follow up with business unit functions to ensure policies are updated or created where required.
  • Inform relevant parties about changes in procedures and policies.
  • Liaise with the different business unit functions to assist with executing operational and qualitative risk assessments.
  • Conducting analysis to evaluate risks and their severity as per the Company’s Risk Management methodology.
  • Making recommendations to reduce and mitigate risks.
  • Continues following up with risk owners for the control’s implementation.
  • Presenting ideas via reports and presentations, outlining findings and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure appropriate communication with all stakeholders.
  • Prepare monthly progress reporting on agreed deliverables.
  • Managing and maintaining ISO9001 certification in coordination with the different business units.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Graduate degree in fields relevant to risk management or applicable bachelor’s degree.
  • Aware of the ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), and ISO 31001 (Risk Management).
  • Risk Management Certificate from the Institute of Risk Management will be considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Microsoft Visio included).
  • Thorough knowledge of Risk Management methodology.
  • Knowledge of control theories.
  • Knowledge of flowcharting (i.e. process descriptions).
  • Time management skills with the ability to prioritise.
  • Listening skills.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving skills.
  • Positive and Can-do attitude.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in both English and Greek languages.
  • Driving license is required.
