Job Overview
On behalf of our client, PERHA Group (Register Number 388239), are recruiting a Banking Officer to join their team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Opening and maintenance of accounts in banks and other financial institutions (Process account opening or maintenance requests in a timely manner, liaise with downstream partners until requests are completed and maintain constant communication with team partners, ensure all documentation received is current, accurate and complete).
- Counterparty verification procedure (KYC, AML, other check).
- Work closely with Payment Institutions and Banks (Full scope of responsibilities: finding relevant institutions/banks, due diligence of potential associates, communication during the process of compliance, application procedure).
- Keeping a register of all bank accounts and details.
- Work with Word-Check database.
- Assist the Compliance team with risk assessment, reporting, AML & KYC review.
- Responsible for transaction monitoring of the clients of the Firm.
- Timely update the records and follow up information about the Firm’s counterparties.
- Work in collaboration with other Departments to achieve set objectives and resolve issues arising from daily requests.
- Ensure that information obtained is consistent with AML Policy and Procedures and satisfies regulatory requirements.
- Follow up and track all documents required to satisfy new account requirements.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Law, Business Administration, Management, Economics, Finance or any other related field;
- Previous experience in a similar position for minimum a of 3 years;
- ICA Certification in AML for ICPAC and CBA Members, and/or CySEC AML Certification will be a plus;
- Fluency in English, Russian will be considered an advantage;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills;
- High attention to detail;
- Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
