Job Overview
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Accountant to join our Limassol office, to head our local in-house accounting team. This is a great opportunity for experienced individuals who wish to work, add value and thrive in a high performance, professional and demanding environment.
The Opportunity:
- Responsible to maintain up to date, accurate and reliable accounting records for financial and tax reporting purposes, on various computerized accounting software for the entities of the group
- Responsible for the preparation of payments requests, following proper confirmation of balances due
- Preparation of VAT Returns
- Preparation of VIES Returns
- Preparation of Payroll Workings
- Issuance of Receipts / Invoices using our specialized project management and billing system
- Produce cashflow analysis and related cashflow projections
- Take on any other relevant duties and assignments as directed by the CFO and the Partner in charge of the Limassol office
The Requirements:
- Holder of the LCCI Higher in Accounting
- Minimum 3 years Accounting experience in a similar working environment
- Experience with financial reporting requirements
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages (written and spoken)
- IT literacy as well as sound knowledge of Excel/Word
- Knowledge of SUN accounts and/or Esoft will be considered an advantage
