Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

Reporting to the Supervisor, Security Control Room, the Officer, Security Control Room is responsible for monitoring all non-gaming related operational functions of the Security Department and other areas to ensure a safe, secure and comfortable environment within company operations is maintained.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Observes and monitors persons on premises using CCTV camera system, respond to persons behaving suspiciously or unlawfully and reports security breaches
  • Allocates resources and tasks by responding, in a timely manner, to telephone/radio requests, monitoring progression/completion of tasks, recording and logging of all relevant information
  • Acknowledges, responds and records all alarms within appropriate time frame
  • Maintains All Security Systems
  • Monitors and coordinates communications during emergencies
  • Maintains and monitors radios and equipment
  • Provides assistance and information to security operations
  • Performs administrative tasks including reports and compilation of data statistics and analysis of metrics
  • Adheres to and exhibits pro-active leadership in accordance with MELCO’s Health and Safety policy by assuming reasonable accountability for the health and safety of employees and for the working environment

  • Ensure that workplace hazards and threats are minimized, and the health, safety and security
  • Monitors Retailers and Hotel environments as directed
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures
  • Reports accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to superiors and relevant departments
  • Ensures transparency and utmost confidently of proceedings and incidents reviewed and investigated from Security Control Room team
  • Performs other reasonable job duties as assigned by superiors from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

  • Casino Security Experience
  • Previous CCTV experience or Technical background is an advantage
  • Experience with security access control systems and Photo ID applications

Education

  • High School Graduate

  • Competent use of Microsoft Suite of products and keyboard skills
  • High level of integrity
  • Ability to demonstrate high level discretion and confidentiality
  • Good organizational skills
  • Capacity to withstand shift work and rotating shifts
  • Greek and English language – both written and verbal
