Job Overview
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established and expanding provider of Corporate & Legal Services to clients around the world, we are seeking to recruit an Internal Legal Advisor to join their team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will hold a relevant degree in Law and possess approximately 3+ years of experience in a similar Legal role with a particular emphasis relating to intellectual property projects including WIPO disputes and some basic understanding of the online gaming industry. Fluency in English is essential, Russian would be highly advantageous.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial contracts within a multi-jurisdictional scope.
- Advising and supporting the business on compliance and regulatory items related to payment and electronic money services.
- Advising on IP and Data Protection issues and handling of corporate IP portfolio.
- Coordination with the company’s external legal advisors.
- Provide support as required by the senior management.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
- Approximately 3+ years previous in-house experience with a particular emphasis with intellectual property projects including WIPO disputes and some basic understanding of the online gaming industry.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Russian would be considered an added advantage.
- You will need to be hands on in carrying out legal work.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to handle large workload with competing priorities and deadlines.
- A thorough approach to work and attention to details.
