Job Overview
AZIA RESORT & SPA, an exceptional 5 star hotel in Paphos, is looking to hire for the position of:
SOUND AND LIGHT ENGINEER
Tasks:
- Operates Sound & Light equipment for all entertainment activities.
- Designs lighting for guest entertainers and on board guest shows.
- Checks all public areas for continuous music and proper atmosphere
- Arranges sound checks and lighting checks for all performances.
- Carries out all the set-ups (including scenery for Production shows), break-down and clean-up of equipment.
The candidates should have:
- 2 years previous experience in similar role.
- Strong AV / Light and Sound background is essential.
- Experience with stage management or working with an entertainment team is required.
- Energy and enthusiasm with great communication and organisation skills.
- Can do attitude with excellent problem solving ability.
- Experience working within a team under pressure.
- Dedication and determination with natural flair for first class service.
- Team spirit and pleasant personality.
- Ability to run nightly shows with special attention to the sound level and lighting.
