Job Overview
Due to strong continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join the 3CX team. Playing an important role in the Company’s continuing expansion plans, we’re looking for a QA Engineer who will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs.
Do you like to perfect products and fix issues? Do you enjoy planning tests and analyzing test results? If detecting and providing solutions to software quality problems is something you’re experienced in, we’d like to meet you.
The QA Engineer’s Role
Your main goal is to prevent defects. As a QA Engineer, you’ll be responsible for identifying and eliminating defects in the product, as well as checking the soon-to-be-released product both for errors and compliance with requirements including:
- Checking the product complies with requirements and verifying the results.
- Designing and implementing tests and debugging.
- Planning tests and implementing them for product improvements or uncommon scenarios.
- Analyzing the test results and verifying their correctness.
- Quality control, software testing, and other sections dealing with product quality.
About the Job
- Testing and verifying potential releases for compliance with internal specifications.
- Detecting and analyzing possible issues and defects.
- Replication and documentation of issues, verification of fixes in future builds/releases
- Working hours 09:00 to 17:30.
About You
For the right candidate, there’ll be an opportunity to be trained in-house on the specific product. Below is an outline of the basic skills requirements as well as those that are considered an advantage:
Basic Skills
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting IT or software technical issues.
- Various client network topologies.
- Working and troubleshooting issues in Windows.
- Working with basic network devices and concepts such as IP, DNS, firewalls and routing.
Advanced Knowledge
- Familiarity with Debian will be considered an asset.
- AWS, Azure / MS365 or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of VoIP and telecommunications technologies.
Personal Skills
- Strong team player.
- Spot issues and a keen eye for detecting them.
- Work calmly under pressure.
- Assimilate information at a fast pace.
- Adapt to changing conditions based on test plans / requirements / new features.
- Fluent in English (workspace language, Greek not mandatory).
