Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

Accountant, Accounts Receivable will be supporting the Accounts Receivable function within the finance team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintains an efficient collection process
  • Tracks and records of incoming payments
  • Issues and records of rental invoices
  • Reviews all credit card transactions for Hotel, F&B and other non-gaming related operations to ensure timely collection and booking
  • Reconciles balance sheet accounts relating to Accounts Receivable
  • Resolves outstanding payments and sending collection statements and invoices
  • Follows up with customers to ensure prompt payments
  • Responds to customer enquiries effectively and promptly
  • Issues monthly aging reports
  • Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Management

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in hotel accounting especially in account receivables
  • Solid understanding of general accounting principles
  • Experience with financial reporting requirements
  • Good command of English language
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Good working knowledge of accounting software systems
