Job Overview
POSITION SUMMARY:
Accountant, Accounts Receivable will be supporting the Accounts Receivable function within the finance team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintains an efficient collection process
- Tracks and records of incoming payments
- Issues and records of rental invoices
- Reviews all credit card transactions for Hotel, F&B and other non-gaming related operations to ensure timely collection and booking
- Reconciles balance sheet accounts relating to Accounts Receivable
- Resolves outstanding payments and sending collection statements and invoices
- Follows up with customers to ensure prompt payments
- Responds to customer enquiries effectively and promptly
- Issues monthly aging reports
- Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Management
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience in hotel accounting especially in account receivables
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles
- Experience with financial reporting requirements
- Good command of English language
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Good working knowledge of accounting software systems
