Job Overview
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Cloud Based E-Commerce solutions to clients across the world, we are seeking to recruit an IT Project Manager to join their team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will ideally hold a relevant academic background relating to Information Technology and possess approximately 2+ years of experience managing IT related projects. A solid understanding of the concepts around Software Development will be considered an advantage. Excellent communication skills in English (Written & Spoken) are essential.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Liaising with stakeholders both internal and external to manage and deliver technology projects in budget and on time.
- Outlining, defining, and initiating the project.
- Implementing document control policies and documentation templates.
- Maintaining a good working knowledge of assigned component projects.
- Monitoring project progress and implementing changes where necessary.
- Ensuring compliance with objectives, organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
- Compiling project reports and informing management regarding problems/issues.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Ideally educated to degree level in Information Technology or a related field.
- Approximately 2+ years of Project Management experience within the technology sector; ideally within a Software Development company.
- Any relevant Project Management certification will be considered an advantage, but not essential.
- Any previous experience with Cloud and/or E-Commerce technology is highly desirable.
- Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals.
- Understanding of software development life cycle is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
- Strong people skills.
