Oneworld Plus Management is a third party AIFM and UCITS ManCo in Cyprus, providing services to Luxembourg, Cyprus and other European funds.

We are looking for a high calibre individual to join our Fund Administration team in Nicosia.

The Role

The duties and responsibilities of this position include but not limited to the following:

• providing accounting services to a number of funds including UCITS and AIFs in Cyprus and other EU fund jurisdictions
• verify market value of fund portfolio using independent pricing sources including Bloomberg, financial statements and third party valuation reports for private equity and real assets
• prepare reconciliations of fund cash and investment positions to the depositary/prime broker/custodian accounts and track fund level expenses, accruals, management fees and incentive fees
• completing NAV calculations as per funds’ reporting schedules
• prepare initial draft of a funds’ annual financial statements with footnotes in accordance with IFRS/GAAP, and work with audit firms to finalise on time FATCA and Annex IV reporting

The Requirements

The successful candidate must have the ability to meet tight deadlines, be self-motivated and with proactive approach. The required qualifications are:

• bachelor degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related discipline
• qualified ACCA or ACA
• a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the profession
• familiarity and up to date knowledge of IFRS and GAAP and preparation of statutory financial statements
• familiarity with fund accounting and NAV preparation an advantage
• excellent knowledge of English
• excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• experience within the fund industry an advantage
