Job Overview
JOB DECRIPTION
- Assists in the processing and preparation of Crew to join the Clients’ Vessels;
- Issues the Crew Employment contracts;
- Books training courses for Crew;
- Applies for the issue of all necessary flag state documents of Crew;
- Applies for the necessary travel visas and assists in arranging the transportation of Crew to and from the Vessels;
- Checks the invoices and disbursements relating to Crew expenses for correctness and accuracy;
- Prepares monthly crew cost reports for Clients;
- Assists in the preparation of the KPIs relating to the to the Crew department;
- Monitors the validity of the Crew’s training certificates and other documents for arranging timely renewal;
- Updates and maintains the Crew’s personal records and crewing system;
- Carries out any other duties and tasks as assigned by the Crewing Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Accounting, Human Resource or Shipping will be considered an advantage;
- Fluency in English, in both verbal and writing;
- Advanced knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel;
- Very Good communication skills;
- Accuracy and attention to detail;
- Responsible, reliable, trustworthy and honest;
- Able to work under pressure and multitask
