Job Overview

JOB DECRIPTION

  • Assists in the processing and preparation of Crew to join the Clients’ Vessels;
  • Issues the Crew Employment contracts;
  • Books training courses for Crew;
  • Applies for the issue of all necessary flag state documents of Crew;
  • Applies for the necessary travel visas and assists in arranging the transportation of Crew to and from the Vessels;
  • Checks the invoices and disbursements relating to Crew expenses for correctness and accuracy;
  • Prepares monthly crew cost reports for Clients;
  • Assists in the preparation of the KPIs relating to the to the Crew department;
  • Monitors the validity of the Crew’s training certificates and other documents for arranging timely renewal;
  • Updates and maintains the Crew’s personal records and crewing system;
  • Carries out any other duties and tasks as assigned by the Crewing Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Accounting, Human Resource or Shipping will be considered an advantage;
  • Fluency in English, in both verbal and writing;
  • Advanced knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel;
  • Very Good communication skills;
  • Accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Responsible, reliable, trustworthy and honest;
  • Able to work under pressure and multitask
