The Role
Our Technology Department supports and drives the digital transformation of the Akelius business in seven countries worldwide
As a Back End Developer JVM, you will be responsible for whole software development life cycle in a self-organized team. Your duties will include amongst others, developing back-end tasks for web applications like our case management application and our tenant application. You will actively participate within our team meetings
Requirements
- Masters/Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineer or in a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in back end development
- Experience in JVM language (e.g. Kotlin, Java, Groovy, Scala or similar)
- Confidence in GraphQL or RESTful services
- Strong knowledge of NoSQL database is an advantage
- Knowledge in HTML, CSS or JavaScript is a strong advantage
- Willingness to learn Angular
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Knowledge of any other language, including the German language will be considered an advantage (but not a prerequisite)
- Positivity, professional maturity, enthusiasm and team spirit
- Creativity and an out-of-the-box thinking approach
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Desire to excel and stand out professionally
