The Role

Our Technology Department supports and drives the digital transformation of the Akelius business in seven countries worldwide

As a Back End Developer JVM, you will be responsible for whole software development life cycle in a self-organized team. Your duties will include amongst others, developing back-end tasks for web applications like our case management application and our tenant application.  You will actively participate within our team meetings

Requirements

• Masters/Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineer or in a related field
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in back end development
• Experience in JVM language (e.g. Kotlin, Java, Groovy, Scala or similar)
• Confidence in GraphQL or RESTful services
• Strong knowledge of NoSQL database is an advantage
• Knowledge in HTML, CSS or JavaScript is a strong advantage
• Willingness to learn Angular
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Knowledge of any other language, including the German language will be considered an advantage (but not a prerequisite)
• Positivity, professional maturity, enthusiasm and team spirit
• Creativity and an out-of-the-box thinking approach
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
• Desire to excel and stand out professionally
