What will your job look like?
- Provide daily support for DSL/Wireless (access) and IP issues on network development, customer implementations and operational functions
- Carry out fast and efficient troubleshooting when problems are encountered with the transport and data networks also in coordination with associated engineering teams
- Provide support for Data Business Customer issues reported through Customer Service or by any other means
- Provide support to the DSLAMs of the Company
- Provide support to the Wireless network of the Company
- Provide engineering support to the Group or client networks/services either remotely or on-site as directed by Management
- Provide support on a 24×7 basis for network issues
- Travel to other locations of the Company or other offices, inland or abroad, as required by the above assignments
All you need is…
- Degree in Computer Science, Networking or Telecommunications
- Knowledge of Network management, including monitoring, capacity, performance, and service level reporting
- Working knowledge of networks and computer information systems
- Solid understanding of information technology concepts for access technologies and data systems
- Unix/Linux knowledge
- Capable of working in a team
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to work on own initiative and be proactive
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritize and manage several activities simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Maintains effective work behavior in the face of setbacks or pressure
