Job Overview
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a well-established and expanding Ship Management company with offices in Limassol we are seeking to recruit a 2nd Level IT Support Officer to join their team of professionals. The successful applicant will ideally possess a relevant academic background relating to Information Technology and will possess a minimum of 2+ years of relevant professional experience providing IT User Support and be able to provide out-of-hours and weekend support as part of a rotational on-call pattern. Excellent communication skills in English are a must.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Monitor helpdesk and provide user support.
- Provide on-site and remote support to vessels, crew, customers and our multisite offices.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot (hardware, operating systems and software applications) on laptops, printers, mobiles, tablets, NAS , CCTV.
- Maintain IT Asset Tracker.
- Participate in the design, implementation of IT solutions.
- Provide out-of-hours/weekend support as part of an on call rotation.
Key Skills/Experience:
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related subject.
- 2 years minimum work experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Windows 10, Active Directory (DHCP, DNS, user accounts), Antivirus systems, MS Office 365/Outlook , OneDrive, Teams.
- Knowledge and administration of repairing computers/laptops, replacing or cloning disks, run and patch network cables.
- Familiar with Android and iOS.
- Very Good command of the English language – Written and Spoken.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and problem solving abilities.
- Clean Criminal Record.
- Ability to be proactive, perform under pressure and meet daily support deadlines.
- Can-do attitude, focused, energetic, self-motivated and trusted IT professional.
- Flexible to travel if necessary.
